W38 – One Inbox for everything that needs a person

The Inbox is one place for localization work that needs a human.

Some things can be translated and shipped automatically. Others need a decision, taste, or opinion. The Inbox brings those jobs together in one place, so they don't get lost across tools or teams. You can handle them yourself, or hand part of the work to a native speaker, reviewer, or engineer.

Here's what shows up in the Inbox:

Human review. You decide what needs a second pair of eyes. Route translations below your quality threshold, or send an entire language to a native speaker. Reviewers can fix what needs fixing, while everything else keeps moving. Review only happens where you want it.

Localization engine suggestions. When a translation scores low, or reviewers keep fixing the same thing, Lingo.dev can suggest the exact change to your glossary, rules, or brand voice. You see the proposed edit and why it helps, then apply it or ignore it. Nothing changes until you approve it. The Inbox also gives you a record of the changes you've made to your localization setup.

Triage. When a user reports a bad translation in Jira, an agent reads the ticket and turns it into a concrete localization fix. It's ranked by severity, so you can start with the most important issues. Once you approve the fix, it becomes a suggestion in the Inbox.

Your own views. You probably don't want to work through the whole Inbox. Save the view that matters to you: a language, a localization engine, a type of work, or a severity level. A native speaker can open their German reviews. A localization manager can see suggestions for their engines. The count in the sidebar tells you when there's something new to look at.
