These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lingo.dev's services, including our website (lingo.dev), AI localization platform, APIs, and any other software or services offered byLingo.dev(collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you are agreeing to these Terms for that organization and promising that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In that case, "you" and "your" will refer to that organization.

Lingo.dev provides AI-powered localization services for modern companies. Our Services include, but are not limited to:
- Automated localization for landing pages, user interfaces, blog content, and product emails
- Real-time localization APIs
- Integration with CI/CD pipelines
- Context-aware translation services
3. Account Registration and Security#
3.1 Account Creation#
To access certain features of the Services, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
3.2 Account Security#
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree to notifyLingo.devimmediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
4. User Obligations and Conduct#
4.1 Acceptable Use#
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not use the Services in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Attempting to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Services
- Using any robot, spider, crawler, scraper, or other automated means to access the Services
- Bypassing any measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the Services
- Impersonating another person or entity, or falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity
5. Intellectual Property Rights#
5.1 Lingo.dev's Intellectual Property#
The Services and their entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by Lingo.dev, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
5.2 License to Use Services#
Subject to these Terms,Lingo.devgrants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Services for your internal business purposes.
5.3 User Content#
You retain all rights in, and are solely responsible for, the content you submit to or through the Services ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grantLingo.deva worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute such User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Services.
6. Privacy and Data Protection#
6.1 Data Processing#
Lingo.dev processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA. We act as a data processor for any content you submit for translation.
6.2 Data Security Measures#

6.3 Service Availability#
We strive to maintain 99.9% service uptime. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Services. Scheduled maintenance will be announced at least 24 hours in advance.
6.4 API Usage and Fair Use#
- API rate limits are based on your subscription plan
- Fair use policies apply to prevent abuse
- We monitor API usage for security purposes
- Excessive use may result in temporary suspension
6.5 Account Termination#

Lingo.dev's integration with your codebase is limited to the specific files and components you explicitly choose to localize. Our system:
- Only processes the data marked for translation
- Does not store or retain your source code
- Operates through secure API calls that transmit only the necessary data segments
6.8 Data Storage and Security#
Our servers are located in the European Union (Frankfurt), ensuring a high level of data protection. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage.
6.9 Compliance with Data Protection Regulations#
We comply with applicable data protection regulations and maintain appropriate safeguards for all user data in accordance with industry standards and legal requirements.
6.10 Third-Party Services#
The Services may integrate with third-party services. Your use of such third-party services may be subject to additional terms and privacy policies.
7. Enterprise Customers and Service Level Agreements#
7.1 Enterprise Services#
For enterprise customers, we offer additional features and support. The specific terms, including service level agreements (SLAs), uptime guarantees, and account management details, are provided on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our sales team for more information about enterprise offerings.
7.2 Custom Agreements#
We understand that enterprise customers may have unique requirements. We're happy to discuss custom agreements, including specific SLAs, data processing addendums, and other enterprise-grade terms. You are responsible for paying all taxes associated with your use of the Services, except for taxes based on Lingo.dev's net income.

10. Export Control#
You agree to comply with all applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations maintained by the U.S. Department of Commerce, trade and economic sanctions maintained by the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control, and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations maintained by the Department of State.

Lingo.dev may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

12.1 Disclaimer of Warranties#
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
12.2 Limitation of Liability#
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL REPLEXICA, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICES.
12.3 Force Majeure#
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms (other than for delay in the payment of money due and payable hereunder) for causes beyond that party's reasonable control and occurring without that party's fault or negligence, including, but not limited to, acts of God, acts of government, flood, fire, civil unrest, acts of terror, strikes or other labor problems, computer attacks or malicious acts, such as attacks on or through the Internet, any Internet service provider, telecommunications or hosting facility. Dates by which performance obligations are scheduled to be met will be extended for a period of time equal to the time lost due to any delay so caused.
13. Indemnification#
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmlessLingo.devand its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
14. Changes to Terms#
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by email or through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction#
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you andLingo.devregarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
16.2 Severability#
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
16.3 Waiver#
The failure ofLingo.devto enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of such right or provision.
